Classic Camp

The classic camp experience for boys & girls aged 7 - 16

Classic Camp is our most popular session, with a beginning, a middle and an end. Enhanced by a theme, each session every year is unique, complete with Camp O traditions. For two weeks, our campers live in a cabin with other campers their own age, and 2-3 Counsellors. The environment is energized by being a part of an enthusiastic community with a focus on skill development and personal accomplishments. Each day builds on one another. This allows every camper opportunities to share in the flow of the whole camp experience, from Day 1 introductions to last day good-bye hugs by participating in the end of session activities such as the Otter Lake Canoe, or our original plays!

Our older campers often choose to combine 2 Classic Camp sessions where part of the focus is on developing leadership skills along with honing their skill set in their activities of choice!

Growth

Campers will learn more about themselves and others by being involved in activities such as skits, singsongs, camping overnights, personal and team challenges.

Nature

Campers will explore nature, through hands-on experiences like camping out in tents to helping out at the Camp Farm, or joining our Suzuki environment program!

Friendship

Campers will develop heart connections with other campers that often evolve into lifelong friendships. Each year, these friendships blossom as these cabin mates grow together.

Teamwork

"All for one and one for all!" Campers will experience many opportunities to share their gifts, learn from others, as well as to be an integral part of a cabin team.

Community

Campers will thrive as members of an inclusive community by sharing in the fun of singsongs, campfires, evening program games, all flavoured with themes and costumes!
